This website is dedicated to my love of Awesome Scrapbooks. I have scrapbooks that date back to the 60’s. Okay, they may not be awesome by today’s artistic standards, but they are awesome to me as they contain report cards, love notes, doodles, party invitations, pictures of “Daddy-Daughter Dates,” school and church programs with my name as a speaker, participant of award recipient.

When people say to me, “Oh! I don’t have *time* to scrapbooks” my heart aches for them. Scrapbooking is more than just an activity. It’s therapy for me! It’s getting back to the basics and creating with my own hands.

Scrapbooks heal the hurt, too. Like when we said goodbye to our beloved cocker spaniel, Tasha. She was a dear part of our family for 12 years and will live forever in our hearts. And she is remembered often with each visit to our scrapbooks as she is in most of the family pictures. Funny stories are recorded and re-lived.

It’s funny how we find time for the things that really matter to us, things that bring us joy. And this work-in-progress called “life” is so much more enjoyable when combined with awesome scrapbooks.
